Moderator

Maura Buechner | Marketing Manager | W.E. O’Neil Construction Co.

W.E. O’Neil’s Marketing Manager Maura Buechner has been with the company for 13+ years.  In her time at W.E. O’Neil, she has provided strategy for project pursuits, managed social media marketing, led market research and branding initiatives and brought creative ideas to the company through her involvement in industry organizations, including SMPS Chicago.  Maura has been a part of SMPS Chicago for eight years serving on the Professional Development Committee throughout her membership and serving as Director for two of those years.  She is also a member of the Builders Association Construction Leadership Council and served on W.E. O’Neil’s Young Leadership Committee and Ethics Board.  Lastly, Maura is a founding Director of W.E. O’Neil’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee.

Megan FitzPatrick, CPSM | Senior Marketing Coordinator | Lochner

Megan FitzPatrick, CPSM is a Senior Marketing Coordinator at Lochner, where she focuses on pursuit strategy, proposal development, and interview coaching. Megan has over 18 years experience in the A/E/C industry, including over 12 years at Lochner. She has been working in a remote environment at home in Milwaukee, WI for over six years. She is currently serving SMPS Chicago as Communications Director.

Marissa Modesto | Business Development Manager | SINGH + Associates Consulting Engineers

Marissa Modesto is the Business Development Manager at SINGH + Associates Consulting Engineers. She is responsible for marketing efforts, proposal strategy and production, and business development efforts. The sudden transition to a remote work environment challenged her to adopt new strategies to deliver winning results. Outside of work, Marissa is a mother to three teenaged sons, so her hobbies include washing dishes and asking, “who left this here?”

Margaret O’Brien | Senior Marketing Coordinator | Project Management Advisors, Inc.

Margaret O’Brien is a Senior Marketing Coordinator at Project Management Advisors, Inc. where she has worked for almost two years. She supports the marketing team with business development efforts, credential materials, event coordination, and other internal marketing initiatives. Since the beginning of the pandemic in March, Margaret has made the transition to working from home. This is her experience in a work from home environment for an extended period of time.
